Wimberley Dining & Bar Recommendations
The small-town Wimberley square offers restaurants, bars, and boutiques and is lively with diners and shoppers. Reservations, where applicable, are highly encouraged!
CreekHouse Kitchen– Located on the Wimberley Square, right on the creek, this restaurant and bar are not to be missed! The menu features a variety of Southern foods (I see you Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich), as well as fish, salads, and tacos. Not interested in food? Stop by for a craft cocktail and enjoy the outdoors, with frequent live music and views of Cypress Creek.
Hildee’s– Featured in several magazines including Texas Monthly and Eater Austin, Hildee’s is one of the newer restaurants on Wimberley’s dining scene. Located further off the Square, it is worth a visit. With limited indoor seating and more outside seating, Hidee’s menu features hill country and Southern menu items, locally sourced, as well as phenomenal pastries, made in-house by their own pastry chef.
Longleaf Craft Kitchen and Bar– This quaint restaurant on the Square and bar has limited small-table seating indoors, with further seating outdoors in the courtyard. Their menu features farm-to-table dishes and craft cocktails. Great for pre-dinner cocktails and appetizers. The deviled eggs are a staple!
Wimberley Inn– Another great spot for drinks and appetizers! Wimberley Inn is a boutique inn off the Wimberley Square with craft cocktails and a limited food menu.
