Oh, y’all, let me tell you—if you haven’t been on a wine tour in Fredericksburg, you’re seriously missing out on one of Texas Hill Country’s finest treasures! Picture this: you, your favorite people, and views of rolling vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see, all while sipping award-winning wines crafted right here in Texas. Fredericksburg is a charming little spot where boutique wineries and Southern hospitality collide in the best possible way. It’s more than just wine—it’s an experience wrapped up in the beauty of the countryside, a dash of history, and a whole lot of fun.
Our Fredericksburg tours are tailor-made for adventurers who love good conversations over even better wine. Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or a newbie who just knows you love a good glass of red or white, there’s a winery (or three) waiting to welcome you with open arms. You might stroll through vineyards bursting with grapes, sample different varieties of Texas-grown blends, or unwind on a sunny patio with a glass of something magical in hand. From bold reds to refreshing rosés, you’ll find wines that are as unique and vibrant as Texas itself. And don’t even get us started on the people running these wineries—they’ll treat you like family and make you laugh along the way. We guarantee you’ll leave with a full heart and maybe a bottle or two to take home.
So, grab your crew, pack your stretchy pants (because there’s usually some great food involved), and hop on a Texas Tipsy wine tour. It’s not just a trip—it’s a little slice of heaven where you can sip, savor, and soak in the good life. Trust us, Fredericksburg wine country will leave you grinning ear to ear, ready to plan your next trip back! Cheers, y’all! 🍷

Fredericksburg, Texas, is a charming German town that attracts most visitors to the Texas wine region. Fredericksburg offers excellent history, dining, shopping, and tasting rooms on Main Street and Fredericksburg. Saturdays are bustling with tourists coming for the day or staying in town through the weekend. * NOTE: We do not have the option to customize our set of four-hour tours.
Most groups prefer to maximize their time spent at the wineries, and instead eat at one of the wineries they visit or plan to snack on heavy wine bites offered at most of the locations. However, your Fredericksburg Wine Tour can be customized to you. We can customize the wineries you visit, as well as your lunch stop.
Your tour time does not include time to eat lunch. Please note that many locations offer quick snacks, such as charcuterie, that will not need additional time. Additionally, your vehicle will include an ice chest with ice, so you are welcome to bring your food. However, if you plan to eat lunch at one of the venues (or make an extra stop), we will need to add additional time, at least 14 days before your tour date.
If you are looking for more than just quick snacks, please email or schedule a call at www.calendly.com/texastipsytours, as time will need to be added to your tour at least 14 days before your tour date.
While there are few options on the 290 Wine Trail, there are many options in downtown Fredericksburg and Johnson City.
